Your Housing Group is hiring a Multi Skilled Joiner to support repairs in empty properties across Merseyside and surrounding areas. You will perform joinery tasks to high standards, prioritising safety, quality and customer service while working within the Repairs & Maintenance division.

Ideal candidates live near the regional area and hold NVQ Level 3 in Joinery with a UK driving licence. The role offers a permanent contract, 40 hours per week, and a strong benefits package including pension

So…. What is this role exactly?

This is an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Joiner to join Your Housing Groups Repairs and Maintenance Division in the Empty Homes Team and provide a high-quality Joinery and associated repair and replacement service throughout Merseyside /Wigan and Warrington and the surrounding areas.

Although we try to base our operatives closest to their home location it may still be required for you to travel to other locations due to business requirements.

What will my working week look like?

Ideally, you will live within or close to your regional area of work and be based within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington to attend meetings and training courses when needed.

What will I be responsible for doing?

First and foremost, working as part of the Empty Homes repairs division, you will undertake repairs and maintenance in our empty properties.

You’ll be performing a vital Joinery role inside these properties ensuring that all Joinery works required are completed to the highest standards. You will be confident and capable, ensuring all work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity, and safety.

And what would make me stand out from the crowd?

To be a successful as a Multi Skilled Joiner, you will have.

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent recognised competency/qualification within the Joinery field
• Experience of undertaking additional repairs and maintenance outside of a Joinery skill set Experience of working as an Joiner within the housing sector would be of real interest.
• You will have basic health and safety knowledge in a repair’s environment.

You will have a full UK Driving License

(ideally no more than 6 points)

• Passionate about right first time and delivering a quality service.
