Berrigan Shire Council is seeking a motivated Revenue Officer to join its Corporate Services team in a full-time role based in NSW. You’ll support rates, water billing, debtors and property transactions, contributing to accurate revenue records and customer service.

In this role you’ll learn across local government finance, undertake debt recovery activities and provide relief support to other finance functions while enjoying a structured 70-hour, 9-day fortnight schedule and a competitive

Qualifikationen

• Experience in revenue, rates, debtors, customer service or administrative role.
• Experience with debt collection and payment arrangements.
• Good computer skills, including financial systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to plan, organise, prioritise and manage time.
• A current Australian Driver’s Licence and National Police Check.

Aufgaben

• Revenue & Rating – assist with rating, revenue, debtor and property systems.
• Rates & Water Billing – assist with rates notices, water charges and debtor invoices.
• Property & Certificates – process land transfers, property updates and related requests.
• Debt Recovery – assist with recovery of outstanding rates and sundry debts.
• Customer Service – provide assistance to ratepayers on rates, water and payment options.
• Finance & Team Support – daily bank reconciliations and project support.
