Job summary

dnata Airport Services Pty. Limited is hiring Ramp & Baggage Agents to join our Adelaide Operations team at Adelaide Airport on a casual basis. You will assist with movement of Ground Services Equipment, marshalling aircraft, and baggage management, including pushback and towing duties.

This role requires a safety-first mindset and the ability to work on a rotating roster. On‑the‑job training and opportunities for progression are provided.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in Australia (citizenship, permanent residency or working visa)
• Pre-employment medical test
• Australian Federal Police security check
• Possession of a valid driver’s license for some roles
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High level of customer service
• Able to work on a rotating roster

Responsibilities

• Move Ground Handling Equipment (aircraft stairs, tugs, belt loaders, etc.).
• Marshall arriving aircraft as required.
• Assist with safe push back and towing of aircraft using appropriate vehicles.
• Handle a range of hands-on duties related to ramp operations.
• Manage baggage operations and related processes.
• Ability to lift up to 32 kg.
• Operate on a 7-day rotating roster.

We’re looking for enthusiastic Ramp & Baggage Agents to join our dynamic Adelaide Operations team at Adelaide Airport on a casual basis.

A few of the key responsibilities for a Ramp & Baggage agent are;

• Assist with the movement of Ground Services Equipment e.g. aircraft stairs, mobile conveyors, tugs, belt loaders etc;
• Assist with the marshalling of arriving aircraft in accordance;
• Assist with safe and timely Aircraft push back and towing activities, driving and operating diverse Pushback tractors both conventional and Tow-bar-less types;
• Hands on capacity handling a range of duties
• Baggage management
• Ability to lift 32kgs
• 7 day rotating roster

Working for dnata at the airport there are a few must haves for you to be successful:

• You need to have Australian / New Zealand citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Working Visa.
