Job summary

Virgin Australia is hiring a Ramp Agent (Pit Crew) to join our baggage handling team. You’ll be responsible for loading and unloading luggage and freight, assisting with aircraft doors and boarding stairs, and operating baggage tugs in a dynamic, outdoor ramp environment.

Qualifications

• Must have manual handling experience and be able to lift up to 32 kg.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Hold a valid Australian driver's licence and the right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload luggage and freight in the bag room and cargo hold.
• Assist with aircraft door operations and boarding stairs; load pets safely.
• Operate baggage tugs and support ramp operations in outdoor conditions.
