4AI Systems is seeking a Systems Safety Engineer to provide specialist safety assurance across multi-sensor AI perception and advisory rail systems. You will assess safety impacts, contribute to hazard analyses, and develop robust safety documentation to support certification in safety-critical environments.

The role requires collaboration with software, hardware, and project teams to ensure alignment with safety baselines and to deliver verifiable safety evidence for approvals.

Formación

• Experience applying Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA) and other safety analysis techniques.
• Strong understanding of functional safety lifecycles, safety integrity levels and assurance processes.
• Familiarity with safety standards such as IEC 61508, EN 50126, EN 50129, EN 50716 (or equivalents).
• Foundational experience with safety analysis and risk mitigation techniques (STPA, FMEA, FTA).
• Demonstrated capability to produce safety documentation and evidence.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safety assurance across projects and collaborate with software, hardware, and project teams.
• Conduct FHA and hazard analyses for new or changed functionality.
• Develop safety documentation including safety plans, cases, and reports.
• Support certification activities and safety-related audits and reviews.
