Job summary

Mott MacDonald is looking for a Transport Systems Engineer to join our Australian Systems Engineering and Integration team in Brisbane or Sunshine Coast. You will contribute to systems integration, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness across diverse rail projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and experience delivering complex systems integration, testing strategies, and RAMS/assurance, with IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management experience highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with experience managing large, complex projects.
• Experience in full integration of complex systems from subsystems to end-to-end.
• Experience with project testing and commissioning strategies and resource planning.
• Understanding of Systems Engineering principles across operations, assurance, safety, V&V.
• Proficiency with IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management is desirable.
• Experience in RAMS and assurance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical expertise in rail operations and maintenance to deliver systems integration on complex rail projects.
• Develop plans, programs of work, and support the delivery of operational testing activities.
• Create operational readiness and rehearsal plans, processes, and system integration roadmaps.
• Work on technical requirements, conditions, and task definitions from operations concepts.
• Develop test plans, test cases, procedures, schedules and resources for test campaigns.
