Australian Rail Track Corporation in Newcastle, NSW, is seeking a Project Engineer - Signals to support the delivery of rail infrastructure projects with a strong focus on signalling and communications. You will work closely with Project Managers, technical specialists, contractors and stakeholders to move projects from planning through to handover.

The role offers exposure to major capital works, opportunities to develop technical and project delivery skills, and semi-regular travel to project

Qualificações

• Provide engineering and project delivery support across the project lifecycle (feasibility to handover).
• Support multidisciplinary rail infrastructure projects with a focus on signalling and communications systems.
• Monitor progress, costs, schedules, quality and safety; report to Project Managers.
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors and internal teams to achieve outcomes.
• Interface with rail operations, corridor managers, utilities, councils and other stakeholders.
• Identify and help resolve technical and delivery challenges to minimise risk and delays.

Responsabilidades

• Provide engineering and project management support throughout the project lifecycle, including feasibility, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Support the delivery of multidisciplinary rail infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on signalling and communications systems.
• Monitor project progress, including costs, schedules, quality and safety performance, and provide regular updates to Project Managers.
• Work collaboratively with design consultants, construction contractors and internal teams to support the delivery of project outcomes.
• Coordinate project interfaces with rail operations, corridor managers, utility providers, local councils and other external stakeholders.
• Identify and assist in resolving technical and project delivery challenges to minimise risks and delays.
• Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with rail safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
