Job summary

Downer is expanding its recruitment team and seeks a Recruitment & Sourcing Business Partner to oversee talent acquisition for a broad range of roles across rail, from operational to engineering positions. The role supports strategic workforce planning across RTS and Downer Rail in multiple Australian offices.

You will lead sourcing strategies, deliver high-quality service to hiring managers, and drive inclusive recruitment initiatives, including targeted programs like Women on Track and Fast

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in a large multi-disciplinary organisation.
• Blue collar & white-collar recruitment experience.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies.
• Deliver a high-quality recruitment service to candidates, hiring managers, and key stakeholders, ensuring the timely attraction, sourcing, workforce planning, recruitment, mobilisation, and onboarding of employees across Downer Rail & RTS.
• Provide regular market insights to stakeholders, ensuring transparency throughout the recruitment process.
• Support RTS's commitment to building a diverse and inclusive workforce through targeted talent attraction initiatives, including Women on Track, Fast Track and emerging workforce development programs.
• Managing employment offers, remuneration discussions, and candidate negotiations.
