Job summary

Downer Rail is seeking an experienced Recruitment & Sourcing Manager to lead its internal recruitment team in Australia. The role can be based at North Ryde (Sydney) or Melbourne CBD, partnering with business stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies and ensure timely delivery across key workforce streams.

Responsibilities include hands-on recruitment support, workload allocation, and contributing to broader RTS and Downer Group initiatives, including women-focused programs and apprenticeships.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead recruitment delivery across multiple streams.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems and recruitment software.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team delivering recruitment services across technicians, trades and professional roles.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies aligned with workforce plans.
• Contribute to RTS P&C Leadership's planning and delivery priorities.
• Allocate work to manage workload and ensure timely delivery.
• Support wider Downer recruitment initiatives and Women on Track programs.
• Assist cyclical recruitment activities and graduate talent programs.
