Job summary

Hatch Ltd. Brisbane Rail team is seeking an experienced Rail Project Engineer/Manager to lead delivery of rail and infrastructure projects across Australia.

You will connect clients, designers and project teams to turn complex challenges into successful outcomes, providing technical leadership and driving delivery performance. You will mentor engineers and graduates, manage scope, cost and schedule, and help grow the Brisbane rail business through winning work and delivering excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of rail, civil or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience delivering rail infrastructure projects through design and/or construction phases.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating project delivery.
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build lasting relationships and create repeat business.
• Experience preparing bids, proposals, estimates and technical submissions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals, tenders and pursuit strategies for upcoming opportunities.
• Lead the planning and delivery of multidisciplinary rail infrastructure projects.
• Manage project scope, programme, risk, quality and commercial performance.
• Coordinate design teams across multiple disciplines and offices.
• Nurture long term relationships with clients, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Review technical deliverables and guide engineering teams through complex challenges.
• Mentor engineers and graduates while supporting the growth of our Brisbane rail team.
• Contribute to business development, market engagement and strategic growth initiatives.
