Job summary

Hatch is seeking a senior Infrastructure Engineer to deliver high-quality civil design outcomes across a portfolio of projects with a primary focus on rail transportation infrastructure in New South Wales. You will join multidisciplinary teams, lead tendering, provide engineering oversight, review work and manage projects from concept through detailed design and execution.

Qualifications

• Design engineer with infrastructure project experience and rail focus.
• Experience with transport infrastructure design and delivery.
• Ability to interpret civil modelling for structural interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of standards and design guidelines.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary design teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural, civil and track design for infrastructure projects.
• Oversee project models per BIM standards and coordinate inputs.
• Provide sketches and markups to support design docs.
• Lead tendering and bid submissions, with client liaison.
• Conduct project reporting and design reviews.
• Ensure documentation meets client specs and standards.
• Manage multiple tasks and project deadlines.
• Support rail team from concept to detailed design and execution.
• Expand rail business within New South Wales region.
