Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty is seeking a Project Engineer to support rail construction from a Brisbane base with FIFO assignments as needed. You will coordinate technical delivery, construction quality and commercial controls with senior project leadership.

Successful candidates have a bachelor degree in engineering, are eligible for Engineers Australia membership, and have 3+ years in rail or major infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Engineering bachelor degree and eligibility for Engineers Australia.
• Minimum 3 years as Project Engineer in rail, construction or major infrastructure.
• Knowledge of construction methods, engineering delivery and quality systems.
• Experience with procurement, forecasting, subcontractors and technical records.
• Clear communication and proactive commitment to safe, quality work.

Responsibilities

• Connect construction planning, resource allocation and technical coordination to delivery targets.
• Monitor forecasts, progress and engineering risks and recommend practical solutions.
• Coordinate subcontractors, procurement, claims and variations.
• Maintain inspection plans, technical queries, work-lot records and compliance documents.
• Work with clients and delivery teams to resolve interfaces and improve outcomes.

The Opportunity
