Job summary
Alstom is seeking a Control Centre Systems Engineer to lead the specification, design, integration and delivery of critical Control Centre environments supporting safe rail operations. You will own control room infrastructure, operator workstations, Human Factors integration and operational technologies.
You will collaborate with dedicated teams across engineering, operations and partners to deliver reliable, user-centric control systems and facilities, requiring technical depth and strong
Qualifications
- Experience delivering Control Room, OCC or ICC solutions in rail/critical environments.
- Proven design and deployment of control room layouts and operator workstations.
- Understanding of Human Factors, ergonomics and operator-centred design.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate design, procurement, installation and acceptance of Control Centre layouts and equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement scalable control solutions.
- Develop layouts optimizing efficiency, safety, ergonomics and operator performance.
- Coordinate Human Factors activities and capture operator requirements.
- Manage interfaces between signalling, communications, SCADA, ATS and other technologies.
- Coordinate internal teams, suppliers, contractors and customers through design and delivery.
