Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Structural Designer/Drafter on rail infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of Rail Infrastructure Maintainer (RIM) standards.
• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, including 3D modelling and documentation.
• Sound understanding of structural drawings, construction methods, and coordination requirements for infrastructure works.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary design teams.
• Ability to interpret engineering design information, including calculations, sketches, and marked-up drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural models and detailed drawings for infrastructure projects using CAD.
• Develop and modify models per BIM standards and project guidelines.
• Produce general arrangements, reinforcement detailing, steelwork drawings, and schedules.
• Coordinate models with civil, mechanical, electrical, and architectural disciplines.
• Assist engineers with design development and interpretation of calculations and markups.
• Participate in clash detection and model coordination activities.
