Job summary

ARTC Rutherford is seeking a Infrastructure Maintainer to join our Operations team. You will perform hands-on track maintenance, preventive and reactive tasks, and assist with minor capital upgrades outdoors across our rail network.

Daily duties include operating heavy machinery, welding, visual inspections, and ensuring safety standards. A valid manual driving license and computer familiarity are essential, with strong teamwork and reliability valued highly.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license and ability to drive a manual car.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and iPad.
• Strong sense of responsibility and willingness to learn.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• High-Risk License and experience operating heavy plant equipment.
• Construction industry induction (White Card).
• HR/HC License or willingness to obtain or upgrade.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARTC's rail track with preventive and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Assist with minor construction for planned capital upgrades.
• General labouring, safety protection work, and visual inspections.
• Operate heavy machinery and perform welding as required.
