Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our diagnostic team in Ipswich, QLD, AU. The role involves coordinating equipment, calculating technical factors, and ensuring safe, high-quality exams for patients in a rehabilitation setting.

This position requires ARRT certification with state license where applicable, CPR certification, and at least two years of radiography training. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in ongoing training and safety

Qualifications

• ARRT certified and current state license as required.
• CPR certification current.
• Minimum 2 years of radiography training in an accredited program.
• Working knowledge of radiological equipment and capability to perform highly specialized exams.

Responsibilities

• Types, proofreads, and mails results of the exams.
• Coordinates multiple factors to achieve a quality exam in appropriate timeframe.
• Utilize radiation safety devices.
• Attends departmental in-services and other staff development programs.
• Maintains and cleans equipment work areas and reports malfunctions or breakages.
