Job summary

Queensland X-Ray is hiring a full-time Radiographer in Townsville to deliver high-quality medical imaging across multiple modalities in private practices. You will be part of a team led by experienced radiologists and imaging specialists, with opportunities for skill development and career progression.

Applicants must hold current AHPRA registration and a QLD Radiation Use Licence or be willing to obtain both.

Qualifications

• Registration with AHPRA as a radiographer is required.
• QLD Radiation Use Licence or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent communication and patient-care focus is essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple private practices across Townsville with General X-Ray, CT, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, MRI, and related modalities.
• Provide high-level medical imaging clinical services.
• Contribute to patient care and safety in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in rotating rosters including weekends and on-call shifts as required.

About The Role

Queensland X-Ray (QXR) is looking for full-time Radiographers to join our team and support our practices in the Townsville region.

This opportunity allows you to work across fully comprehensive private practices which offer services including General X-Ray, CT, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, MRI, BMD and Dentascan procedures, working in conjunction with our Sonography and Nuclear Medical departments.

You'll have exposure to a lot of variety in different modalities with the opportunity for upskilling and career progression.

• Current AHPRA Registration and QLD Radiation Use Licence or willing to obtain
