Job summary

Lumus Imaging Caringbah is seeking a General Radiographer to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and build skills across our Sutherland Shire network. You will perform general X-ray examinations, ensuring patient comfort and safety while collaborating with radiologists and referrers for timely results.

Training across Kareena Private and other sites is part of the role, with a focus on radiation safety and professional development within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) with AHPRA registration or eligibility.
• General radiography experience; multi-modality experience bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general X-ray examinations to a high clinical standard.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety and dignity throughout examinations.
• Work closely with radiologists, referrers and fellow radiographers to deliver accurate results.
• Training across sites, including Kareena Private, as part of ongoing development.
• Adhere to radiation safety, quality and infection control standards.
• Support a positive, collaborative team environment across the site and wider network.

About the role

As a General Radiographer with Lumus Imaging Caringbah, you'll deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging while building your skills across our Sutherland Shire network. Your day will include:

About you

• Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration or equivalent eligibility
• General radiography experience is highly regarded, with experience across additional modalities a bonus
• A patient‑first approach, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A collaborative team player who's happy to train and work across Sutherland Shire sites, including Kareena Private
• A genuine interest in developing your skills and progressing into advanced modalities
