Zusammenfassung

Lumus Imaging is seeking a motivated radiographer to join our Northern Beaches Hospital imaging team, delivering high-quality imaging in a fast-paced acute hospital environment. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of radiography experience, CT/General radiography skills, and current AHPRA registration with NSW EPA radiation licence.

You will work across ED imaging and main hospital departments on a rotating roster, including nights and on-call.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality imaging services, demonstrating clinical excellence, sound judgement and a commitment to outstanding patient care. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of radiography experience, with experience in Siemens CT systems considered an advantage.

Lumus Imaging, Northern Beaches Hospital provides a comprehensive 24/7 medical imaging service, offering exposure to a diverse and interesting range of clinical presentations and complex cases. The role involves working across our satellite Emergency Department imaging service and main hospital imaging department, including outpatient services.

The successful applicant will participate in a rotating roster covering day, evening, weekend and night shifts, as well as on-call responsibilities.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• A recognised university degree or equivalent qualification in Medical Imaging Technology.
• Current AHPRA registration and a valid NSW EPA radiation licence.
• A minimum of three years' radiography experience, with acute hospital experience highly desirable.
• Strong CT and general radiography skills, with the ability to confidently manage complex clinical presentations.
• Initiative, sound clinical judgement and the ability to work autonomously while recognising when escalation is required.
• A commitment to efficient departmental workflow, timely examinations and the identification and resolution of operational challenges.
• The ability to identify, report and escalation equipment, quality assurance and patient safety concerns.
• Confidence in troubleshooting imaging equipment, IT systems and PACS-related issues.
• A willingness to support the development of colleagues through training, mentoring and clinical supervision of junior staff and students.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and sharing knowledge to support continuous improvement across the department.
