Job summary

Coxons Group Australia in Rockhampton is seeking a motivated Trade Assistant / Workshop Assistant to support our radiators and heat exchangers team.

Based in Rockhampton, you’ll join the Strip & Assess crew and perform tasks such as stripping, testing, sandblasting, and assisting trade personnel. You will photograph components, complete job documentation, and conduct preliminary quality inspections while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Trades background or mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Able to follow instructions and SOPs.
• Well organised, punctual and reliable.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Physically fit for manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Strip, clean, and test radiators and cooling components.
• Sandblast and buff radiator tubes.
• Assist trade personnel and radiator repairers as needed.
• Photograph components and complete job documentation.
• Conduct preliminary quality inspections.
• Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.
