Job summary

WorkPac Group in Rockhampton is seeking a reliable Workshop Labourer to assist with workshop upkeep and support the maintenance team.

The role offers a 9-day fortnight roster and consistent 10-hour shifts in a local workshop, with a competitive rate of AUD 37.50 per hour. Duties include housekeeping, cleaning, light assembly, and parts washing.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping throughout the workshop.

• Operate a gurney to wash parts and radiators.
• Clean radiator hoses and tubes.
• Follow instructions from Leading Hands and Supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Performing general housekeeping duties throughout the workshop


• Cleaning and maintaining amenities, gardens, and car park areas


• Assisting with workshop maintenance and tidiness


• Cleaning mechanical components and parts


• Assisting with basic assembly tasks


• Operating a gurney to wash parts and radiators


• Cleaning radiator hoses and tubes


• Following instructions from Leading Hands and Supervisors


• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment

What You Will Need

• Current Driver's Licence


• Previous experience in a similar labouring, workshop, or maintenance role highly regarded


• Ability to perform physically demanding work


• Strong commitment to workplace safety


• Reliable work ethic and positive attitude


• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
