Redback Radiators on the Gold Coast seeks a practical Production / Assembly Worker to join our modern facility. You will perform hands-on assembly, learn broad manufacturing skills, and work alongside experienced teammates with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in hands-on assembly in a workshop or manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or in a team.
• Experience with hand and power tools is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assemble radiators, heat exchangers, manifolds and related components.
• Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.
• Work with sheet metal and fabricated parts.
• Fit and fasten components to detailed specifications.
• Handle and move materials safely throughout the workshop.
• Follow production procedures and quality standards.
• Conduct quality inspections during assembly.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position within our production team, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in building quality products.

Working alongside experienced team members, you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and have the opportunity to develop a broad range of manufacturing and assembly skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble radiators, heat exchangers, manifolds, and related components
• Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools
• Work with sheet metal and fabricated parts
• Fit and fasten components to detailed specifications
• Handle and move materials safely throughout the workshop
• Follow production procedures, work instructions, and quality standards
• Conduct quality inspections and checks during assembly processes
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment

Training & Development

Full training will be provided across a range of manufacturing and assembly processes, including:

• Core and tank assembly
• Mechanical fitting and component installation
• Product testing and leak-testing procedures
• Assembly of custom cooling and heat exchange systems
• Quality control and inspection processes
• Safe operation of workshop equipment and tools
• Material preparation and handling techniques
