Qualifications

• Qualified in Radiation Therapy with current AHPRA registration.
• Strong clinical experience in radiation therapy and patient safety requirements.
• Commitment to clinical quality and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated leadership potential or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and mentor Radiation Therapists within the department, fostering safe clinical practice.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, QA processes and safety standards.
• Champion patient safety and continuous improvement, supporting incident management and service improvements.
• Coordinate daily workflows, staffing and resources to ensure safe service delivery and continuity of care.
• Work closely with Radiation Oncologists, Pre-Treatment Leaders and the MDT.
• Support introduction of new technologies and training.
