Icon Cancer Centre Geelong is seeking a Registered Nurse with Radiation Oncology experience to provide patient-focused care for those receiving radiotherapy. The role reports to the Nurse Manager and involves assessment, care planning, and education within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

This 8-month parental leave contract is part-time (2 days a week) with autonomy and opportunities to engage with new therapies and clinical trials while maintaining strong patient rapport.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current AHPRA registration, prefer oncology experience.
• Experience in high-acuity or oncology settings is desirable.
• Strong communication and collaborative, multidisciplinary approach.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care to patients receiving radiotherapy.
• Assess, review and implement care plans under Nurse Manager supervision.
• Support day-to-day operations and participate in trials and new therapies.
• Document patient experiences and relay feedback to doctors and managers.
