Job summary

Lumus Imaging is seeking a General Radiographer to join our Sutherland Shire team. You will perform general radiography across clinic and hospital sites, ensuring patient comfort and safety while delivering accurate results.

Work alongside radiologists and colleagues in a supportive network. This role offers ongoing training and genuine opportunities for career progression in our national network.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) and current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in general radiography is required.
• Patient-first approach with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative team player able to work across clinic and hospital sites.

Responsibilities

• Performing general x-rays to a high clinical standard.
• Ensuring patient comfort, safety and dignity throughout examinations.
• Working with radiologists, referrers and fellow radiographers to deliver timely results.
• Maintaining equipment and adhering to radiation safety standards.

About the role

As a General Radiographer with Lumus Imaging based in the Sutherland Shire, you'll perform scans with the added variety of working across clinic and hospital sites. Your day will include:

• Performing general x-rays, to a high clinical standard
• Ensuring patient comfort, safety and dignity throughout every examination
• Working closely with radiologists, referrers and fellow radiographers to deliver accurate, timely results
• Maintaining equipment and adhering to radiation safety and quality standards
• Supporting a positive, collaborative team environment across clinic and hospital settings

About you

• Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration
• Experience in general radiography
