Job summary

Mass Electronics Group (MEG) is seeking a detail-driven Product Test and Support Engineer to join its Innotech Pty Ltd R&D team in Brisbane. In this full-time role, you will develop and execute testing protocols for hardware, software and embedded products, providing essential troubleshooting and product support.

You will document results, collaborate with engineering, product and operations, and help drive continuous improvement across existing and future products.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience testing, troubleshooting and supporting hardware, software, firmware or embedded systems in a technical environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes and deliver effective solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing technical documentation, test plans, test reports and user-focused information.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams while also managing priorities and working autonomously when required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute testing protocols for new and existing hardware, software and embedded products.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve product-related issues raised by internal stakeholders, providing reproducible findings to the R&D team.
• Support and maintain existing products and systems, including testing, validation and continuous improvement activities.
• Document test results, technical issues and product performance metrics, preparing detailed reports and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and operations teams to support product development, validation and lifecycle management.
