Job summary

Unyte is gearing up for new civil project opportunities in Queensland and is seeking experienced Project Engineers who want to lead hand-on delivery. You will manage short-term programs, track costs, and coordinate procurement, plant, materials and subcontractors on bulk earthworks, drainage and roads.

Ideally based in Queensland with full Australian working rights, you will work alongside seasoned project leaders, develop toward the next career stage, and contribute to HSEQ and commercial

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ civil construction experience.
• Experience delivering bulk earthworks, drainage, roads and related civil infrastructure.
• Proven experience in programming, procurement, subcontractor management and productivity tracking.
• Experience managing ITPs, QA, RFIs, drawings and non-conformances.
• Commercial awareness with cost tracking, variations, progress claims and cost-to-complete.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage short-term programs and keep critical activities moving.
• Track productivity and costs.
• Coordinate procurement, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Support variations, progress claims and commercial reporting.
• Manage technical queries, drawings, RFIs and quality documentation.
• Work with site teams to manage high‑risk activities and maintain HSEQ standards.
• Build relationships with clients and their representatives.
• Develop toward the next stage of your civil construction career.
