Job summary

Unyte is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of major civil infrastructure projects in Australia, driving safety, commercial performance, and operational excellence. You’ll shape project strategy, influence delivery across programs and mentor Project Managers and engineers.

This senior role requires a hands-on leader who can manage complex, multi‑disciplinary teams and maintain client relationships.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years’ experience in civil construction.
• Proven experience delivering major projects valued at $10-80M+.
• Demonstrated success leading large, multidisciplinary project and construction teams.
• Strong experience across project delivery, commercial management and contract administration.
• Proven capability managing budgets, cost forecasting, procurement and commercial risk.
• Experience with construction methodologies, programming and subcontractor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall delivery of major civil construction projects valued at $10-80M+.
• Provide leadership to Project Managers and broader project teams.
• Drive performance across program, cost, quality, risk and commercial outcomes.
• Develop and manage project budgets, resources and delivery programs.
• Monitor financial performance, forecasting, cash flow, variations and claims.
• Lead procurement and subcontractor engagement for major project packages.
