Project Engineer | Your 2027 Civil Project Starts Here
2027 might feel a while away. Your next career move doesn't have to.
Unyte is preparing for new civil project opportunities commencing in Q1 2027, and we're starting conversations now with experienced Project Engineers already living and working in Queensland.
We're not looking for everyone.
We're looking for civil Project Engineers who enjoy being close to the work or FIFO, taking ownership and driving project delivery.
Engineers who understand that successful project delivery isn't just about hitting a program. It's about knowing your numbers, staying ahead of procurement, managing subcontractors, solving technical issues, maintaining quality and making sure the job is delivered safely.
You might be exactly who we're looking for if you're:
At Unyte, you'll be involved in the real delivery.
You’ll develop and manage short-term programs and keep critical activities moving.
You’ll track productivity and costs.
You’ll coordinate procurement, plant, materials and subcontractors.
You’ll support variations, progress claims and commercial reporting.
You’ll manage technical queries, drawings, RFIs and quality documentation.
You’ll work closely with site teams to manage high-risk activities and maintain strong HSEQ standards.
You’ll build relationships with clients and their representatives.
And you’ll work alongside experienced project leaders while continuing to develop towards the next stage of your civil construction career.
We're looking for genuine civil construction experience.
For these opportunities, hands-on experience delivering bulk earthworks, drainage, roads and associated civil infrastructure is essential.
We're particularly interested in Project Engineers who understand how projects come together from both an engineering and commercial perspective, and who are comfortable taking responsibility for a package or component of works.
Your next project doesn’t need to be another project.
Make it the one that moves your career forward.
If you’re a Queensland-based Project Engineer with strong civil construction experience, full Australian working rights and you’re thinking about making a move in Q1 2027, we’d like to hear from you.
