Job summary

Boral is seeking a skilled Plant Operator to safely operate mobile and fixed plant at Seaham Quarry, driving efficient production while upholding safety. Your day will involve operating haul trucks, excavators and front‑end loaders, managing the crushing plant, carrying out basic maintenance, and supporting improvements.

The role is permanent with training and career development opportunities, plus overtime and allowances; Monday to Saturday work with a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Experience with mobile plant operation is essential.
• Sales Loader experience is a bonus.
• Self-motivated with a strong safety and quality focus.
• Able to work Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Operate quarry mobile plant and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Manage the operation of the crushing plant with precision.
• Perform basic maintenance and keep the plant clean.
• Engage in problem-solving and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Participate in safety initiatives, including pre-start checks and toolbox talks.
