Job summary

Boral is seeking a permanent, full-time Plant Operator for our Roseneath near Townsville quarry. You will operate the mobile and fixed plant to ensure safe, efficient production, including the Dump Haul truck, Front-end loader, and the crushing plant.

The role also covers basic maintenance, housekeeping, and active participation in safety and continuous improvement activities. We offer ongoing mentoring, permanent stability, a competitive hourly rate with overtime and allowances, and a diverse

Qualifications

• Experience in mobile plant operation.
• HR truck licence is advantageous but not essential.
• Quarry experience highly regarded but not essential.
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of Dump Haul truck, Front-end loader and other quarry mobile plant as required.
• Safe operation of the crushing plant.
• Basic maintenance and plant housekeeping.
• Active participation in problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
• Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolbox talks and incident reporting.
