Job summary

Workfast is currently seeking experienced Excavator, Moxy, and Front End Loader Operators for an immediate start on a busy quarry site. This casual position offers ongoing hours with a pathway to permanent work for the right candidate.

You will operate mobile machinery, load trucks, and work under WHS guidelines as part of a collaborative team. The role starts early with 10-11 hour days and potential to transition to permanent after three months.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of proven experience operating heavy machinery.
• Valid tickets/competencies for Excavator, Front End Loader, or Haul Pack/Moxy.
• Current Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle for site travel.
• Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, loaders or Moxys on a busy quarry site.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Follow WHS procedures and site rules.
• Collaborate with site team and foreman.
• Assist with any additional duties as required.

Workfast is currently seeking experienced Excavator, Moxy, and Front End Loader Operators for an immediate start on a busy quarry site. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a leading, family-owned company that offers plenty of hours and ongoing work.

• Ongoing work and permanent opportunities
• 10 - 11 hour days
• Options to work every 2nd Saturday

This is an ongoing casual position for the right candidate, with the view to transition to permanent full-time after 3 months.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Operating mobile machinery (Excavators, Loaders or Moxys) on a busy quarrying site
• Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
• Following strict workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures
• Working collaboratively in a strong team environment
• Assisting with any additional duties assigned by the site foreman or manager

What You Need:

• At least 2-3 years of proven experience operating heavy machinery
• Valid tickets/competencies for Excavator, Front End Loader, or Haul Pack/Moxy
• Current Driver's Licence and your own reliable vehicle to get to site
• Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
• Willingness to work hard with a positive, 'can do' attitude

What You Get:

• $41 - $44 / hr + super + penalties
• 6:00 AM starts, working 10 to 11-hour days
• Ongoing work with a temp-to-perm pathway after 3 months
• Immediate start available
