Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a self-motivated Quarry Operator for Bacchus Marsh Quarry in VIC. The role covers day-to-day operation and light maintenance of plant and equipment, with heavy equipment experience and a focus on OH&S.

This is a full-time position with overtime and weekend work as required. You will join a team in a safety‑driven environment, carrying out general labouring tasks and contributing to the operation of wash plant and quarry processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in quarrying, mining, or similar industry.
• RII tickets and ability to work unsupervised.
• Strong commitment to risk management and OH&S.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day operation and light maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Operate heavy equipment, including front-end loaders, dump trucks, and water trucks.
• Grader experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience with wash plant and slimes processing is advantageous but not essential.
• Perform general labouring activities, including cleaning, hosing, and shovelling.
