Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a self-motivated Quarry Operator to join the Bacchus Marsh Quarry team in VIC. You will operate heavy equipment, perform light maintenance, and help with general site duties in a safety-focused, team environment.

In this full-time role, you will work Monday to Friday with overtime and occasional Saturday shifts. Experience in quarrying or mining is valued, and RII tickets are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in quarrying, mining, or a similar industry.
• Strong commitment to risk management and OH&S.
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• RII tickets and appropriate site qualifications when required.

Heidelberg Materials Australia is one of the country's leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates, including crushed rock, sand, gravel, and road base from a number of locations across Australia.

We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Quarry Operator to join the team at our Bacchus Marsh Quarry in VIC.

This is a full-time position with overtime and weekend work according to business needs.

• Carry out day-to-day operation and light maintenance of plant and equipment
• Operate heavy equipment, including front-end loaders, dump trucks, and water trucks

• Hourly base rate from $34.01, dependent on experience, plus penalty rates and superannuation
• Monday to Friday, average hours 6:00am to 4:00pm
• Half-day Saturday shifts according to business requirements (approximately two per month, depending on workload)
