Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is hiring multiple process and mobile plant operators for our Perth hardrock quarry. The role covers fixed plant maintenance, mobile operation and general processing duties, with shifts starting around 8:30 am and finishing by 6:30 pm on weekdays.

This full-time position offers an attractive hourly rate of AUD 37.93 with overtime and holiday penalties, daily allowances, rostered days off, and ongoing training within a globally leading building materials company.

Qualifications

• Experience in fixed plant or mobile crushing/mineral processing is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proactive maintenance mindset.
• Ability to operate mobile plant/equipment with training available.

Responsibilities

• Operate or monitor crushing plant and associated machinery safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine plant inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with plant setup, calibration, and shutdown procedures.
• Support hard rock processing operations with mobile equipment as required.
