Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is hiring a Quarry Operator for East Guyong Quarry, NSW, between Orange and Bathurst. This permanent full-time role runs Monday to Friday with overtime and potential Saturday work. You will operate Dump Trucks, Front End Loaders, Excavators and crushing & screening plants.

We seek safety-minded candidates with quarry experience and the ability to work in a small team or unsupervised. A pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening is required.

Operate and Assist We have an opportunity for aQuarry Operatorto join our team atEast Guyong Quarrylocated between Orange and Bathurst on the Mitchell Highway, New South Wales. Approx 3.5 hours west of Sydney. Reporting to the Quarry Supervisor this is a permanent full-time role, working Monday to Friday with ample opportunity for overtime and potential Saturday work.

We are seeking applicants who have a passion for safety and value strong work ethic, as well as being willing and able to work a varied role in hard rock operations and general maintenance activities.

In your new role with us, you will: Operate mobile equipment, including Dump Trucks, Front End Loaders and Excavators (Experience highly advantageous). Operate crushing & screening plants. General fixed plant inspections & maintenance. During busy periods we expect all employees to pitch in and perform any/all quarry tasks where needed.

This role is a great fit for you if you have: Valid tickets and experience (preferred) operating a Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator. Previous quarrying experience (highly regarded). Total commitment to Zero Harm and Safety Leadership. Strict adherence to fixed and mobile plant pre-start & maintenance procedures. Ability to work in a small team and unsupervised. Professional work ethic with a "can do" attitude. The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
