Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is recruiting a Quarry Supervisor for East Guyong Quarry, between Orange and Bathurst. You will supervise drilling, blasting, excavation, crushing and screening, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and efficient production.

The role requires 5+ years in supervision, strong leadership and a valid heavy equipment certification, with on-site outdoor work. You will develop production plans, monitor equipment performance, train staff and maintain records, while collaborating

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a quarry supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of quarrying techniques, equipment and safety procedures.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations relevant to mining.
• Valid driver's license and relevant heavy equipment certifications.
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks in outdoor environments.

Quarry Supervisor Heidelberg Materials are now recruiting for a Quarry Supervisor to join the team at East Guyong Quarry, located approximately halfway between Orange & Bathurst on the Mitchell Highway. Reporting to the Quarry Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily quarry operations ensuring efficient production, safety compliance, and optimal resource utilisation.

In your new role, you will:

• Manage and supervise all aspects of quarry operations, including drilling, blasting, excavation, crushing, and screening.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.

• Relevant degree or vocational qualification in mining, geology, or a related field preferred.
