Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a Quarry Operator for East Guyong Quarry, NSW. You will operate mobile equipment, run crushing and screening plants, and perform inspections with a safety-focused team. Overtime and occasional Saturday work are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile equipment including Dump Trucks, Front End Loaders and Excavators.
• Operate crushing & screening plants and perform general fixed plant inspections.
• Participate in maintenance tasks and assist across quarry activities as needed.
• Support the team during busy periods and cover additional tasks.

Operate and Assist

We have an opportunity for a Quarry Operator to join our team at East Guyong Quarry located between Orange and Bathurst on the Mitchell Highway , New South Wales. Approx 3.5 hours west of Sydney.

Reporting to the Quarry Supervisor this is a permanent full-time role, working Monday to Friday with ample opportunity for overtime and potential Saturday work.

We are seeking applicants who have a passion for safety and value strong work ethic, as well as being willing and able to work a varied role in hard rock operations and general maintenance activities.

In your new role with us, you will:

• Operate mobile equipment, including Dump Trucks, Front End Loaders and Excavators (Experience highly advantageous)
• Operate crushing & screening plants
• General fixed plant inspections & maintenance
• During busy periods we expect all employees to pitch in and perform any/all quarry tasks where needed

This role is a great fit for you if you have:

• Valid tickets and experience (preferred) operating a Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator
• Previous quarrying experience (highly regarded)

• Strict adherence to fixed and mobile plant pre-start & maintenance procedures
