Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a Quarry Operator for East Guyong Quarry, located between Orange and Bathurst on the Mitchell Highway, NSW. The role is permanent full-time with Monday–Friday shifts, potential overtime and Saturdays.

You will operate Dump Trucks, Loaders and Excavators, run crushing and screening plants, and perform fixed-plant inspections while maintaining safety and quality. We value a strong work ethic, zero-harm mindset and the ability to work both in small teams

Qualifications

• Valid tickets and experience operating Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator
• Previous quarrying experience (highly regarded)
• Total commitment to Zero Harm and Safety Leadership
• Strict adherence to fixed and mobile plant pre-start & maintenance procedures
• Ability to work in a small team and unsupervised
• Professional work ethic with a can-do attitude
• Pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening

Operate and Assist

We have an opportunity for a Quarry Operator to join our team at East Guyong Quarry located between Orange and Bathurst on the Mitchell Highway , New South Wales. Approx 3.5 hours west of Sydney.
Reporting to the Quarry Supervisor this is a permanent full-time role, working Monday to Friday with ample opportunity for overtime and potential Saturday work.
We are seeking applicants who have a passion for safety and value strong work ethic, as well as being willing and able to work a varied role in hard rock operations and general maintenance activities.

In your new role with us, you will:

• Operate mobile equipment, including Dump Trucks, Front End Loaders and Excavators
  (Experience highly advantageous)

• Operate crushing & screening plants

• General fixed plant inspections & maintenance

• During busy periods we expect all employees to pitch in and perform any/all quarry tasks where needed

This role is a great fit for you if you have:
