Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a self-motivated Quarry Operator for the Axedale Sand & Gravel Quarry in VIC, about 2 hours north of Melbourne. This full-time role includes overtime and weekend work to meet production needs.

You will operate and maintain heavy machinery such as excavator, front-end loader, dump truck or grader, perform general labour tasks and contribute to quarry maintenance while upholding safety and OH&S standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in quarrying or mining is preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavator, front end loader, dump truck and grader.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Commitment to OH&S and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day to day operation and maintenance of vehicles, plant, and equipment.
• Operate heavy machinery such as excavator, front end loader, dump truck & grader.
• Perform general labour tasks including cleaning, hosing and shoveling and quarry maintenance.
