Job summary

Holcim Australia and New Zealand is seeking a Multi Skilled Operator based at Beenleigh Quarry in Queensland to join the world's largest building materials company. You will perform daily pre-start inspections, operate Frontend loader and excavator, manage crushing and blending plant operations, and participate in QA manufacturing and stockpiling processes.

Qualifications

• Experience operating frontend loading equipment and excavators in a quarry or similar site.
• Familiarity with crushing and blending plant processes and QA stockpiling.
• Ability to perform daily pre-start inspections and report faults promptly.
• Willingness to work across quarry activities and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-start inspections on HME plant and equipment.
• Operate frontend loader and excavators to support quarry production.
• Oversee crushing/blending plant operations and basic maintenance tasks.
• Ensure QA processes and stockpiling procedures are followed.
• Be flexible across quarry activities and commit to overtime when needed.

We are looking for a Multi Skilled Operator, someone mechanically minded who has worked in a quarry or similar environment before. You hold safety as a core value and appreciate the need for keeping the workplace safe.

About you

You will conduct daily pre-start inspections on various HME plant and equipment, identify problems and machine faults ensuring these are reported and rectified to assist the site in maintaining a consistent and safe operation at all times.

• Experience with Frontend loader operations
• Excavator operation
• Complex crushing and blending plant operation and basic maintenance
• Familiar with quarry products and QA manufacturing / stockpiling process
• Quarry plant maintenanceMust be flexible and willing to work across all facets of quarry activities
• Must be prepared to work overtime.
