Job summary

Holcim Australia and New Zealand is seeking a Multi Skilled Operator for Beenleigh Quarry QLD. You will perform daily pre-start inspections on HME plant and equipment, identify faults, and help keep production safe and steady.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Frontend loader and excavators.
• Experience with crushing/blending plants and basic maintenance.
• Familiar with QA processes for quarry products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-start inspections on HME plant and equipment.
• Identify problems and machine faults and report them.
• Ensure safe, continuous operations on site.
• Work across all facets of quarry activities and overtime when required.
• Support maintenance and basic repairs as needed.

We are looking for a Multi Skilled Operator, someone mechanically minded who has worked in a quarry or similar environment before. You hold safety as a core value and appreciate the need for keeping the workplace safe.

About you

You will conduct daily pre-start inspections on various HME plant and equipment, identify problems and machine faults ensuring these are reported and rectified to assist the site in maintaining a consistent and safe operation at all times.

• Experience with Frontend loader operations
• Excavator operation
• Complex crushing and blending plant operation and basic maintenance
• Familiar with quarry products and QA manufacturing / stockpiling process
• Quarry plant maintenanceMust be flexible and willing to work across all facets of quarry activities
• Must be prepared to work overtime.
