Job summary

Qube is seeking a Quarantine Washbay Operator to join our team in North Fremantle. The role involves washing and cleaning imported machinery following AQIS procedures, operating wash bay equipment safely, and maintaining a clean work environment.

The successful candidate will have experience as a wash bay operator, clear verbal communication, and the ability to work autonomously under deadlines. Training and a Fitness to Work medical are provided.

• Maintaining and operating wash bay equipment properly and safely.
• Keeping work area clean and organised at all times.
• Adhering to environmental regulations regarding disposal of cleaning agents and waste.
• Maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment.
• Supporting site safety requirements.
• Actively leading and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Other washbay operations tasks as required.

To become a Qube Logistics Washbay Operator you will need to have the following:

• Previous experience as a Wash Bay Operator is desirable
• A valid forklift license not essential
• Clear verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in tight and hard to reach spaces.
• Ability to work autonomously and work to strict deadlines.
• Positive work ethic.
• Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
• Commitment for continuous learning and development.
• Valid drivers Licence and reliable transport is required.

Additional information

We will provide all relevant onsite training. Willingness to complete a Fitness to Work Medical, including Alcohol and Drug Screening.
