Job summary

Illumine Consulting Pty Ltd in Neutral Bay NSW is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join one of Australia’s leading project QS and cost-planning teams working across major retail brands. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to residential, industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects with senior QS leaders focused on your development, including AIQS APC progression.

You’ll undertake cost planning, budget preparation, contract administration, tender analysis and BIM-enabled cost management,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience as a Graduate QS or similar role in Australia
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
• Experience in cost planning, budget prep, contract administration, tender analysis and preparing tenders/contracts/master docs
• AIQS member and pursuing APC program

You'll join one of Australia's leading project QS and cost-planning teams for major retail brands, while also gaining hands on exposure across residential, industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects. You'll be supported by senior QS leaders who are invested in your development, especially if you're completing the AIQS Assessment of Professional Competency Program. You'll also get site exposure and direct client interaction, not just office-based tasks.

About you

• Graduate QS with 3–5 years' experience in a professional QS consultancy or contractor in Australia
• Working knowledge of local building codes and regulations
• Experience in cost planning, budget prep, contract admin, tender analysis and preparing tenders/contracts/master docs
• Familiarity with CostX, Revit and BIM workflows
• Full-time working rights in Australia
• AIQS member and currently undertaking the APC program
