Job summary

Victoria University is seeking a Teaching Focused Academic in Melbourne to lead learning in Construction Management with emphasis on Quantity Surveying. The role includes teaching, curriculum renewal, assessment and coordinating units, while building industry partnerships and supporting student success.

The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in Quantity Surveying or related field, have industry credibility, and participate in accreditation activities at AIQS, AIB, CIOB or RICS.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver higher education teaching and support student learning (≤140 chars)
• Strong pedagogy and curriculum development skills
• Commitment to scholarship of teaching and learning and professional accreditation

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high quality learning activities in Construction Management and Quantity Surveying.
• Teach contemporary Quantity Surveying and related commercial practice.
• Assess student learning, provide feedback and support learning outcomes.
• Contribute to unit coordination, curriculum renewal and assessment quality.
• Engage with industry for curriculum relevance and accreditation activity.
