Job summary

You will create master production schedules, support SOP development, and drive continuous improvement with Engineering & Operations to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Eaton Quality Assurance System and ensure QA documentation is current.
• Create a master schedule to expedite production activities to meet forecasts and demand.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, SCM and sales to ensure schedules are followed and changes communicated.
• Track new orders and back orders and adjust production plans accordingly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to promote efficiency and customer service.
• Escalate concerns to Engineering & Operations Manager as needed.
• Liaise with suppliers and handle refunds for incorrect/faulty products.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the Eaton Quality Assurance System. Ensure QA documentation is current and up to date. Run internal and external audit processes ensuring compliance.
• Create a master schedule to expedite production activities for the facility to meet established sales forecasts and customer demand. Scope includes Clutch, Trimline, Workshop, Reman and Kitting accessories.
• Manager Eaton Quality System –
• Assist with the development & revision of Standard Operating Procedures
• Run internal & external audit processes
• Ensure all QA documentation is up to date & accurate
• Manage customer quality queries
• Manage (including refunds) for incorrect/faulty products received from our suppliers
• Support the production planning and coordination the workflow for OEM and Aftermarket (AM) establishing priorities to meet sales forecasts and specific customer orders.
• Liaise with manufacturing team, Supply Chain Management and sales to ensure production schedules are adhered to.
• Track new customer orders and back orders to determine where schedules need to be revised. Advise changes to manufacturing team.
• Monitor and report progress of weekly and monthly schedule to Engineering & Operations Manager. Recommend process improvements to meet department targets.
• Schedule VORs and Warranty orders as high priority ensuring timely communication with sales, SCM and manufacturing team.
• Assist with jigs & fixture development
• Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives to promote efficiency, productivity and customer service in conjunction with Engineering & Operations Manager.
• Escalate concerns/discrepancies to Engineering & Operations Manager.
• Other duties as required by Engineering & Operations Manager
  

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in production scheduling
• Customer Service focus -commitment to provide a timely, quality and accountable service
• Overall understanding of SCM and SiOP processes.
• Strategic minded and open to change
• Able to multi task, work under pressure and within short time frames
• Attention to detail
• Basic technical knowledge of Transmission & Clutch part numbers is desirable.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and Oracle ERP software
