Job summary

Healius is seeking a Quality Officer to support maintenance and continual improvement of quality systems across the pathology network, working with the Quality Manager and Brisbane team. You will help maintain accreditation, manage documents, and drive compliance with relevant standards.

You will apply your experience in regulated quality environments, engaging with multiple stakeholders to safeguard quality and patient outcomes, while contributing to efficiency and governance across QMS

Qualifications

• Experience in quality, compliance or accreditation within a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 15189 is advantageous.
• Understanding of quality systems and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Assess and contribute to risk management processes.
• Review quality documentation for accreditation compliance and best practices.
• Maintain quality records per Quality Policy and review controlled documents.
• Review incidents and support escalation per policies.
• Maintain QMS software records including audits and referral processes.
• Collaborate with commercial and operational stakeholders as required.
• Prepare reporting and provide insights to Quality Manager and leaders.
• Support continuous improvement across pathology operations.
• Track quality performance indicators and contribute to improvement projects.
