Healius in Australia is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist to lead the day-to-day operations of a satellite laboratory. You will oversee the delivery of high-quality, efficient diagnostic services, balancing technical oversight with strong people-management and strategic guidance.

This on-site role requires leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across a national network of laboratories, with involvement in onboarding and capability

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Scientist or equivalent is essential.
• Demonstrated experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, ideally in a multi-disciplinary role.

Responsabilités

• Lead laboratory operations to meet performance targets and service expectations.
• Manage resources including staffing, rostering and costs in line with budgets and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation and quality standards (NATA, TGA).
• Oversee quality control and participation in external quality assurance programs.
• Lead and develop team members to sustain high performance and collaboration.
