Job summary

EBOS Group in Sydney, NSW is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to handle receipt of tissue, perform QC testing, and manage documentation within a fast-paced team. The role includes equipment maintenance, label printing, and participating in tissue donation programs.

Office hours are 8:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday, onsite at Frenchs Forest. Experience with GMP-Human Tissue and TGO 88, along with strong communication, is essential.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work autonomously as part of a busy and dynamic team.
  • Ability to acquire knowledge and understanding of GMP- Human Tissue and TGO 88.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Receipt of incoming tissue and associated testing specimens.
  • Perform quality control testing of tissue, collection and dispatch of samples.
  • Maintain equipment and calibration per schedule; document maintenance.
  • Print final product packaging labels as requested.
  • Handle non-conformances, CAPA, change controls, audits and documentation.
  • Monitor clean room pod environment and storage equipment; respond to alarms.
  • Perform plate counts for in-process monitoring and COA generation.
  • Perform released product transfers and QA of returned grafts.
  • Provide assistance for duties in Femoral Head/Living Donor tissue donation programs.

Responsibilities
  • Receipt of incoming tissue, and where applicable, associated testing specimens.
  • Quality control testing of tissue, collection, and dispatch of samples from all incoming tissue in compliance with documented protocols.
  • Participate in the management and performance of equipment maintenance and calibration according to schedule. Completion and review of documentation for equipment maintenance.
  • Printing of final product packaging labels as requested.
  • Performing tasks related to quality systems including non-conformances, CAPA, change controls, audits and documentation. Driving completion of tasks to target dates.
  • Participate in monitoring of clean room pod environment and storage equipment. Respond to monitoring alarms to contain and protect product.
  • Perform plate counts for in-process monitoring and produce certificate of analysis for results.
  • Perform released product transfers. Quality inspection and clearance of returned grafts.
  • Provide assistance where required for duties in the Femoral Head/Living Donor tissue donation programs.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Ability to work autonomously as part of a busy and dynamic team.
  • Ability to acquire knowledge and understanding of the Code of Good Manufacturing Practice- Human Tissue, and TGO 88.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities.
