Job summary

HR Partners is assisting a defence systems organisation in Canberra to recruit a Quality Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will take executive control of the Quality Management System, acting as the Quality Face to the customer and driving a risk-based culture to build a world-class quality organisation.

Your remit includes upgrading ISO 9001 to AS9100 where needed, and coordinating with Environmental (ISO 14001) and Occupational Health and Safety (ISO 45001) certifications if

Qualifications

• Experience leading Quality Management systems in engineering/defence environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and related standards.
• Proven ability to drive a risk-based quality culture and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Management System and act as the primary customer-facing Quality Lead.
• Drive upgrades to ISO 9001 and AS9100; if required, target ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Integrate health, safety, and environmental systems into daily operations and program delivery.
